By homing in on the “how” of change, these organizations have managed to serve more meals, increase and improve their community support programs, reduce administrative overhead, and leverage technology for greater productivity. Although the path was fraught with challenges, all grantees found their journey—often marked by resilience and including humor—ultimately rewarding in terms of the achievement of their ultimate destination: sharing their mission.
